Hello!

I’m Natalie, a gap-detector and super-connector looking to make the world a little easier and a lot more meaningful.

With 8 years of experience as a researcher, strategist and designer, I help clients translate complex systems into seamless user experiences that enhance business opportunities. My approach is thoughtful, industrious and playful, exploring opportunities to humanize users, products and services in digital environments.

I hold a Masters in Transdisciplinary Design, Systems Theory and Science from Parsons School of Design Strategies, New York, NY and a Bachelors in Industrial and Product Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver, Canada.

I have diverse experience in life sciences, environmental sustainability, nanotechnology, fashion and retail, with various companies, research labs and institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

My design research has been presented at XXI La Triennale di Milano: Design After Design (Italy, 2016) and Cumulus Conference: In This Place (UK, 2016). I’m also a member of the Union of Concerned Researchers in Fashion and you can learn more about my background in sustainable fashion here.
